Greetings from Baghdad! Thank you all so much for the CARE packages.

My unit was able to use some of the material, but the majority was given to the Chaplain's Office to distribute to other military personnel in the surrounding Forward Operating Bases (FOBs). Your boxes I'm sure were used to brighten the day for hundreds of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines here! All was greatly appreciated.

When the boxes started arriving, I was the envy of everyone around. Whoever packed those boxes did a great job. Our logistics guys could probably take a few pointers.

Thank you for the invitation to attend a Board Business Luncheon when I return home. I would be honored to do so.

My unit is scheduled to leave Iraq sometime toward the end of January. We hope to be back to New York by the first week of February. Can't wait!
