Camp Good Days
and Special Times

Children and adults facing the tough challenges of cancer, HIV/AIDS and violence need a place where old bonds can be strengthened and new one created, a place where visions are born and dreams are discovered, a place where courage has no boundaries. That place is Camp Good Days and Special Times on beautiful Keuka Lake.
For 18 years, the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc. has sponsored the John S. Elliot, REALTOR® Tournament of Love to financially support Camp Good Days and Special Times. The Tournament is in memory of John S. Elliott, a former President of the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc.
The successful 2007 Tournament of Love allowed us to send $5,000 to Camp Good Days & Special Times. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Benefit: Kelly O'Day
Kelly is a 16 year old sophomore at Chenango Forks High School and a member of
the Girls Junior Varsity Basketball Team. Kelly has been diagnosed with
Metastatic Malignant Melanoma Cancer and is currently undergoing
treatment. Kelly is the youngest of three daughters to
Michael and Debbie O'Day. Michael is a Binghamton Police Department
Patrolman and Debbie is a nurse at Binghamton University Student Health
Center. They live in Chenango Forks with sisters Katie & Colleen.
Almost $6,000 was raised for Kelly.

On June 5th, 2004, local REALTORS® and other volunteers worked on home repairs for Christmas in April.

Strike out against cancer.
On June 5th, 2004, the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS® sponsored a Bowl-A-Thon to benefit Emily Ellerson, a 2 year old with severe health problems. We were able to purchase a special wheel chair and assist in making her home handicap accessible.

Southern Tier Independence Center's mission has three parts. We provide assistance and services to people with all disabilities of all ages to increase their independence in all aspects of integrated community life. We also serve their families and friends, and businesses, agencies, and governments to enable them to better meet the needs of people with disabilities. Finally, we educate and influence our community in pursuit of full inclusion of people with disabilities.
